someday i might actually finish my series on the advice song. but for now, let me just say this: call it the golden rule, call it whatever you want, but the bottom line is – treat others as you want to be treated. because you never know when a kindness may be revisited on you. like one was on me today – which caused my heart to sing with gratitude.

also, i know i’ve said this before, but you don’t have to love your family just because they’re your family. your friends are the family that you choose. you have but one heart, be true to it. and give love only to those that deserve it.
