Maybe you’ve seen it, maybe you haven’t – but just for grins you have to get down to the Woodlands Waterway sometime after dusk. The big fountain out there does a light show/water dance about four times an hour, on the quarter-hour. It’s pretty cool! One of our favorite things to do around here is go walk the waterway and watch the light show. It’s relaxing, and it’s nice to be out.

One of the greatest things about my new life (which is a long story…. waaay long, and not to be divulged in one ginormously long post right here or right now) is the fact that not only do I have time to go and walk the waterway, but that I have someone in my life that wants to go and walk the waterway WITH me. You don’t even know.

In fact I’m relatively certain that he’s beginning to think I’m just the slightest bit insane. Because last night I was trying to convey just how happy I am right now, and I could at best tell him how I was struggling to control the uncontrollable laughter that was building inside of me.

Anyway, don’t mind me. I’m not even biotching about anything today, so I’m sure I’m disappointing my fans (ha-ha). I guess since it can’t all be sunshine and butterflies, I’ll throw in that if the elevator at Timberloch is out of order, the least they can do is put up a sign, instead of letting countless people sit there and punch the button then wait like an idiot for five minutes till you realise you could have taken the stairs by now…
